How do I access my member profile? Visit www.compostingcouncil.org and click on the Login at the top right corner of your screen.
I forgot my member portal password, how do I access it? Click on FORGOT PASSWORD or FORGOT USERNAME and a new one will be emailed to you within 24 hours.
I am not a member yet but I want to join. Can I do this at the same time I register?
The best way to be sure you get your member discount is to FIRST sign up for membership (online at http://compostingcouncil.org/membership-application/. All member types except ASSOCIATE must wait to be contacted by our database department (301-897-2715 X1) to set up an account before you can pay. Once your membership is paid and you log in to your account, you will automatically be offered ONLY the member price.
When does early bird registration end? At midnight Eastern Time (ET) on Thursday, November 30, 2017
Can I register more than one person? Yes, after you have created your account and registered, you will be able to add guests.
What is included in the Full Registration price? Full Registration includes Monday’s Welcome Reception, All day conference sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, Tuesday and Wednesday access to the Tradeshow hall, and Thursday’s Demo Day. Full Registration does NOT include workshops/tours on Monday.
Do I register in this portal if my company is a sponsor or exhibitor? If you are an exhibitor or sponsor, please hold off on registration. We will be sending specific instructions and/or codes for your registration process.
I have a code to use as a municipality, or from another organization. Where do I use that? There will be a field at the end of your registration screens where you can enter the discount code.
I only want to come for one day. Is that an option? Yes, a one-day pass can be purchased for the January 23 or January 24 conference days. Visit www.compostconference.com/attend/ for the early bird, regular and walk-in pricing options.
I only want to come to the trade show. Is that an option? Yes, visit www.compostconference.com/attend/ for pricing available on each day.
I am bringing a (family member/guest) and they only want to come to the evening tradeshow reception, or the exhibitors lunch. Do they have to have a pass? Yes, there is separate pricing for the January 22 reception only; or for tradeshow only passes. Visit www.compostconference.com/attend/.
I am a member, and a number of people from my company who want to attend. Is there a limit on how many people can use the member rate? Yes, depending on your level of membership. Basic-1, Bronze-2, Silver-3, Gold-5, Platinum-7, Sustaining/Benefactor-10
PreConference Workshops and Tours
Are the workshops and tours included in full conference registration? If not can I pay on-site when I arrive? No, they are not included, and yes, you can pay on-site on the workshop day (January 22) and take a receipt for entry to the door of your class. Many workshops fill up so we advise you to make your purchase in advance.
Can I move from one workshop to another over the course of the day? No, each class requires a separate registration.
How will I show that I have paid for a workshop/tour? We will check your name off a registration list at the door or you can provide a paid receipt if paying on-site.
Will lunch be provided for the workshops/tours? Lunch is not provided, but there are several food options in the vicinity of the training area.
I want to attend Equipment Demonstration Day. Is there a fee for that? No, this year it is free of charge, but we ask you to indicate that you are coming so that we have enough safety equipment, refreshment and accommodations for everyone.
Refund and Payment Policies
Badges: USCC will not issue a badge at check-in to anyone who has an outstanding conference balance.
Cancellation/Refunds: The USCC understands that on occasion conditions require cancellation. To be eligible for a refund, Refund of full fee, less $50 administrative fee, will be made only if notice of cancellation is received by Dec 15, 2017. The USCC will issue a 50% refund for cancellations made on or before Dec 31, 2017. No refunds can be issued after Dec 31, 2017. Please call the USCC office 301-897-2715 to confirm receipt of cancellation. A cancellation must be in writing and addressed to Katrina Rainey, [email protected] If it is made by Dec. 15, 2017, the USCC will issue a full refund less $50 administrative fee; if before December 31, USCC will issue a 50% refund, less $50 administrative fee. Please call 301.897.2715 X1 to ensure your request has been received.
No refunds will be given after December 31, 2017.
The USCC is not responsible for problems beyond our control such as travel- and weather-related conditions; site conditions; prepaid parking, tours etc; and no refunds will be given in those situations. Any other extenuating circumstance not covered here may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Hotel Cancellation Procedure
For all new reservations, changes and cancellations to your hotel reservations please call 877-717-1655. Please contact the hotel directly at 404-659-1400 to make any new reservations, changes or cancellations after January 13, 2018. Hotel cancellations received 72 hours or less before arrival will be charged one night’s room and tax. Registration discounts will be rescinded and a balance will be due for individuals who cancel hotel rooms before the meeting.
