Daytona, Florida, was preselected as the location for our East Coast rotation of the USCC’s Annual Conference several years ago, before current state policies affecting marginalized populations were put in place. We are currently working on preselecting a state for our future conference with the DEIA mission in mind.

For COMPOST2024,  we are maximizing our efforts to ensure that these state policy changes are not harmful to our BIPOC and LGBTQ attendees. With regard to our 2024 conference, USCC staff and the DEIA committee are actively working with the Daytona Beach Convention Center and Volusia County officials to provide an as-safe-as-possible environment.

The USCC is not responsible for problems beyond our control such as travel- and weather-related conditions; site conditions; prepaid parking, tours etc.; and no refunds will be given in those situations. Any other extenuating circumstances not covered here may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation requests must be made in writing and submitted via email to USCC STAFF compostconference@compostingcouncil.org. Refunds of full registration fees will only be made if the cancellation request is received by November 30, 2023. USCC will retain no more than $50 as a refund administration fee. No refunds will be issued for any reason after December 1, 2023.
