Presentation Description: There is a critical need for accessible composting solutions. In this session, Let’s Go Compost, a 501(c)3 non-profit focused on making composting free and accessible, Founder and Executive Director Lauren Click will speak to the “A” in DEIA – accessibility. Low-income communities, often less responsible for climate change, are disproportionately affected by its impacts. Learn how composting facilities can work to offer accessible composting options and take a vital step towards both mitigating climate change and promoting equity – all while meeting stakeholder needs and ensuring profit and revenue goals.
