Description: The Italian Compost and Biogas Association – CIC (www.compost.it) is an association of public and private companies, local authorities and others involved since more than 30 years in the production of compost and biogas from organic waste, as well as producers of machinery and recycling equipment, producers of fertilizers, research bodies etc. Currently almost 100 composting and anaerobic digestion facilities in Italy are associated to CIC, treating about 70% of the all the organic waste collected in the country.
