Tim Gainer is the YWC Superintendent for the City of Raleigh Solid Waste Services and is responsible for the Yard Waste Center, the closed landfill, flare operations, gas collection and control system personally or through subordinate supervisors. He has worked for the at the Yard Waste Center for 2 years. Before that, he was the Southeast Region O&M Project Manager for AEG Tetra Tech for 5 years where and was responsible for project management of several gas collection systems for landfills in Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky. He also served 10 years in the Army with 82nd Airborne where he was a Horizontal Construction Supervisor and Combat Engineer.
