3) Take 580 East off the bridge to 980 South.

Attendees will board the BART Blue Line eastbound to Dublin/Pleasanton and get off at the Balboa Park Station. From there, transfer to the Yellow line northbound to Pittsburg/Bay Point, and get off at the Oakland City Center/12 St Station (a $5.40 trip).

Attendees will board the Amtrak Capitol Corridor line from San Jose Station to the Oakland Jack London Square Station (a 1 hour, $14 trip).

Alternately, attendees can also take the Amtrak Coast Starlight train which goes from San Jose Station to the Oakland Jack London Square Station with no intervening stops (a 1 hour, $15 trip).

This train does however run only once daily, leaving San Jose at 8:39PM and arriving at Jack London Square at 9:47PM.
