“I volunteered in 2019 and found it to be the best way to experience the event. The time commitment is small and you’ll get a chance to meet people behind the scenes.”

Oscar Meléndez Colón Chief Business Development Officer, TAIS

We’re Looking for a Few Volunteers!

We are excited that you are interested in joining us in Daytona Beach, FL in February for our 32nd Anniversary Conference and Tradeshow — COMPOST2024.

Each year we have between 40-50 volunteers who are foundational in helping our event be successful. We can not do it without you!

Do you have an interest in creating healthy soils, clean air and water, a stable climate, and a sustainable society? Do you want an opportunity to work with the US Composting Council and other world leaders in compost and sustainability? Do you want to learn more from the inside about how our exciting annual event runs? Does your community or business need YOU as a resource? Are you in the industry and looking for more experience but want to reduce the price of registration?

Please read over our conference Volunteer Guide AND if you think you are a great fit for our event, go on over and fill out the COMPOST2024 Volunteer Information Form. We will begin filling positions by the end of December 2023.

If you have volunteered for this event in the past and want to volunteer again, membership is required. Individual memberships are as low as $180 a year, and enrolled students (an unofficial transcript may be requested) can become members for the sweet price of $33. See details here: https://www.compostingcouncil.org/memberjoin. For more information on student memberships click here.

Please contact Hessa Al Maghlouth at hessa@compostingcouncil.org with any questions.
