Getting to Jacksonville

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX)

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is the primary airport serving Jacksonville and is located approximately 15 miles north of downtown Jacksonville and the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center.

The airport offers nonstop service to destinations throughout the United States. Once you arrive, several ground transportation options are available, including rental cars, taxis, rideshare services and hotel shuttles.

Ground Transportation

Rental cars, taxis and other ground transportation services are located on the lower level of the terminal, adjacent to baggage claim.

Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are authorized to pick up passengers at JAX. Rideshare pickup is located on the lower arrivals level; look for the signs for App-Based Rides Service near baggage claim.

Taxis and shuttles: Taxi, limousine and shared-ride services are available at the ground transportation area outside baggage claim. Hotel shuttle service may also be available depending on your hotel.

Rental cars: Several major rental car companies operate at JAX, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, Hertz, National and SIXT. Rental car return is located in the ground floor of the parking garage adjacent to the terminal.

Jacksonville International Airport, take I-95 South toward downtown Jacksonville. Follow I-95 to Exit 353A (Myrtle/Church/Forsyth), then continue toward Forsyth Street, Lee Street and West Bay Street. The convention center’s main parking lot is accessible from West Bay Street.

Parking at the Convention Center

Parking is available at the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center. General public parking is currently $12 per vehicle per day, and the parking lots are cashless, accepting debit and credit cards. Rates are subject to change, so attendees should check the venue’s parking information before traveling.

Getting Around Jacksonville

Jacksonville offers several convenient ways to get around the city and to and from the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center.

Skyway
The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) Skyway is a free, automated monorail serving downtown Jacksonville and the Southbank. The LaVilla Station, near Bay Street and Lee Street, is close to the Prime Osborn Convention Center. The Skyway is particularly convenient for attendees staying at downtown and Southbank hotels.

JTA Bus Service
JTA operates bus and other public transportation services throughout Jacksonville. Attendees can use the JTA system to travel between downtown, surrounding neighborhoods and other areas of the city. JTA’s MYJTA app provides route and fare information.

Rideshare & Taxis
Uber, Lyft and taxi services provide convenient transportation between Jacksonville International Airport, area hotels and the convention center.

Driving & Rental Cars
For attendees renting a car or driving to Jacksonville, the convention center is conveniently located near the intersection of I-95 and I-10. On-site parking is available at the convention center.
