Getting Here
Sacramento International Airport is a quick 15 minute drive from downtown Sacramento, when you arrive we suggest using rideshare, or a rental car to make your way to your conference hotel.
Once You’ve Arrived
Sacramento is an extremely walkable city if you did not bring or rent a car, and the streets are created with pedestrians in mind. If you are driving throughout your stay, there is plenty of available parking downtown, with much of it also offering the ability to reserve a spot!

Exploring Sacramento
Outdoors
Want to stretch your legs and get some fresh air? Sacramento provides plenty of fantastic outdoor adventures; explore the American River Parkway bike trails, rent a bike in Old Sacramento for a bit of urban exploration, and enjoy the bike-friendly city!
If the water is more your speed, Sacramento provides plenty of rafting opportunities on the American River, or you can explore the river on your own with a number of parks providing both beach and water access to the public.
Walking around the city can also provide a wealth of things to do, Sacramento has a vibrant night life, restaurant and art gallery scene.
Arts and Entertainment
If you’re looking for something a bit more low-key to explore, Sacramento has a wealth of art galleries, museums, and fine arts to check out while you’re in town.
Theater
Sacramento has a range of theater experiences from indie theater at Geery Theater, broadway plays, musicals and classics downtown, to smaller private theaters offering locally written and acted talents.
Performing Arts
Sacramento also has a variety of top-class musical talent including the Sacramento Ballet, the Sacramento Philharmonic, and the Sacramento Opera.

Traveling with the Kids
If you happen to be bringing along any little ones, Old Sacramento offers a fun glimpse into the old west, tours of the Capitol are free, fun, and also offer access to the surrounding capitol park for some beautiful outdoor space. Discovery Park offers a relaxing outdoor space, and William Land Park is home to the Sacramento Zoo and Fairytale Town.
